Speakers at RCCI pay rich tribute to the services of the late Sheikh Mu hammad Shabbir

RAWALPINDI: Speakers in a condolence meeting held at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) pay rich tribute to the services of the late Sheikh Muhammad Shabbir, former president and group leader of RCCI. The life and services of late Sheikh Muhammad Shabbir were highlighted in a documentary during the condolence reference.  Appreciating the services of the late Sheikh Shabbir in strong words, speakers said that we lost a great man and a teacher. His services to the business community and to humanity will always be remembered. As the President of Rawalpindi Chamber, he crossed many milestones.

Station Commander Ijaz Qamar Kayani, Group Leader Sohail Altaf, Senior Vice President Osman Ashraf, Vice President Shahraiz Malik, Former Presidents, Former Senator Mian Atiq, Dr. Qayyum of PANAH, Representatives of Islamabad Stock Exchange, Islamabad Chamber Group Leader Akram Farid, Former Presidents ICCI, Nadeem Sheikh of Small Chamber, Malik Sohail from UBG, Representatives of Anjuman-e-Tajiran of Rawalpindi City Shahid Ghafoor Paracha, Zahid Bakhtawari, Sharjeel Mir, Sheikh Hafeez, Sheikh Siddique, Arshad Awan, Chaudhry Iqbal, Flour Mills officials, members of the executive committee and a large number of chamber members were also present.

Station Commander Rawalpindi Ijaz Qamar Kayani in his remarks said that the late Sheikh Shabbir made his two children and grandchildren Hafiz e Qur’an which is remarkable, a great virtue and charity and prayed for departed soul.

RCCI President Nasir Mirza said that the late Sheikh Shabbir, like a kind father, shared the secrets of the success of chamber and guided us in promoting trade activities. Being from Rawalpindi city, he had deep ties with the business community. Sharing his close memories, Group leader Sohail Altaf said that Sheikh Shabbir was a man of high stature. His role in the development and progress of the Chamber and in the promotion of business activities is exemplary and a beacon for us.

In the end, Hafiz Khurram Shabbir, son of the late, offered condolence prayer.
