Quetta Appraisement implements WeBOC at all its stations: Chief Collector Gul Rehman

QUETTA: Chief Collector Customs Balochistan Gul Rehman has said that Collectorate of Customs Appraisement implemented WeBOC at its all stations.

The Chief Collector said that following the directions of the FBR the Collectorate of Customs Appraisement as implemented WeBOC at its all stations and formations. Previously WeBOC was not in operation at NLC-Dryport Quettra.

he said that Clearances at Dabandin Customs Stations and Saindak EPZ were also on One Customs basis.

Dedicated efforts were made by Abdul Waheed Marwat the Collector Customs Appraisement-Quetta and his team to shift all types of clearances from One-Custom to automated WeBOC system.

The inter-part movement (IPM) from Taftan to NLC Dryport Quetta have been shifted to WeBOC module.

The Chief further said that this new WeBOC TP system has enhanced the enforcement capacity as well as trade facilitation and now the consignments can be monitored on real time basis to thwart any attempt of pilferage and mis-declaration.

He added that all types of clearances at NLC Dryport Quetta, Taftan, Chaman and Dalbandin are now in WeBOC system while this reformed step has ensured transparency  and increased efficiency to ensure trade facilitation and collection of due taxes.
