Multan Customs told hold auction of perishable food items on July 19

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs (Enforcement & Compliance) (E&C) has announced special auction on 19th July for perishable food items lying at the State ware House.

The Collectorate has decided to dispose perishable goods through special auction. Additional Collector Ghulam Nabi Kamboh has approved the list of perishable goods which will be offered in the auction. The special auction of perishable goods will be carried out at Multan Customs House.

Multan Customs will ensure special precautionary measures during the auction to prevent public from Corona spread-out and participants of auction will face mask and instruction for social distance will be followed during auction. Perishable food items are auctioned before its expiry

As many as five different lots of dates of Iran origins of almost 16980 Kilograms will be offered. Various brands of bubble gums, Cakes and other items will be offered in auction. Their expiry date is 30th October 2021. Multan Customs will also offer dried plums, raisin of Iran Origin and Raisin of 2700 Kilogram and 350 kilograms of almond without shell.

Assistant Collector Umer Sajjad supervised the auction of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port along with other staff to ensure transparency.
