Faisal Moiz Khan, Senior Vice President Shabbir Ismail, Vice President Naeem Haider, Member Managing Committee Syed Usman Ali, Sadiq Muhammad, CEO North Karachi Industrial Development & Management Company (NKIDMC), members managing Committee were also present in the meeting.

Najmi Alam said, Rods and suction machines would be provided to NKATI which would be allotted not only for North Karachi Industrial Area but also with regular notification from Karachi Water & Sewerage Board.

Faisal Moiz Khan, NKATI president, said that sewerage problems are increasing in North Karachi industrial area due to which newly constructed roads which have been constructed under the grant received from Sindh Government, are being destroyed. Therefore, effective and lasting measures should be taken in this regard to prevent the destruction of infrastructure.

Referring to the slaughter house located in Sector 12C, he said that the slaughter house was causing filth and putrefaction which had become a threat to human life. Although the Slaughter House has been shifted to Surjani Town, the existing Slaughter House is no longer needed in the industrial area.

Faisal suggested that a civic center like center be set up in place of the said slaughter house. There should be a fire station, road cleaning machines, crime monitoring cell and NKATI Welfare Clinic so that the industrialists of North Karachi can have all the facilities under one roof.
