MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) has generated Rs65.49 million trough auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.
According to details, Multan Customs C has carried out monthly auction for disposal of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods. The auction of confiscated vehicles and goods were held at Multan Customs House. Multan Customs offered 28 non-customs paid vehicles in the auction including Toyota Vitz, Toyota Passo, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Rush Jeep, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Suzuki Alto, BMW, Toyota Alto, Toyota Mark X and others after the approval from Federal Board of Revenue .
Multan Customs has sold out 24 foreign origin non-customs paid vehicles successfully in Rs53.25 million during auction. Remaining four vehicles were rejected during auction due to fewer prices offered by participants. All presented vehicles were auctioned after completing all legal requirements and these vehicles were out rightly confiscated by Customs Adjudication after their legal trial.
Multan Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) has also offered 25 lots of miscellaneous goods including 216140 litres High Speed Diesel oil, solar pumps, Pvc plastic sheets, HTV tyres, LTV tyres, ball bearings, curtain cloth, lady printing fabrics, almonds, bay clothes, electronic goods, welding electrode chocolate brands, spare parts, Chocolate bars, Caramel filled chocolate and foreign Origin foreign goods.
Multan Customs sold out 5 lots of clothes, tyres, auto parts, HSD and in worth Rs.12.59 million in the auction. Remaining lots of miscellaneous goods were rejected due to fewer prices offered in the auction.
Assistant Collector Omer Sajjad supervised the whole auction of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port to ensure transparency.
