Customs Enforcement collects Rs9.24b during 1Q of FY22-23

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement collected Rs9.24 billion and also collected Rs32.55 billion in first quarter while the target for the first quarter was Rs22.5 billion. The Collectorate has surpassed its revenue target for month of September by Rs7.9 billion.

The monthly performance of Anti-Smuggling Organization also increased by 290 percent (seizures of Rs1080 million) vis-a-vis performance of September 2021 (seizures of Rs276 million) and quarterly performance increased by 142 percent (Rs1862 million) compared to previous year (Rs769 million).
