Multan Enforcement generates Rs63.42m through auction of vehicles & goods

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Multan has earned Rs63.42 million through public auction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying at the State Ware House.

According to details, Multan Customs Collectorate Enforcement offered 3 confiscated vehicles in auction and sold out all vehicles. These offered vehicles were from different brands and models including Toyota Corolla X ,Suzuki Swift car and Honda Civic. These confiscated vehicles were sold out in Rs4.2 million. All confiscated vehicles offered in the auction were latest model and non-customs paid which were impounded by Anti-Smuggling Organization in their different actions from jurisdiction.

Multan Customs offered 7 different lots of tyres, iron scrap, battery, photocopier machines, window air conditioners, Sofa set, shock absorber, hand bags, water pump motor, five various lots of HSD and others. Multan Customs sold out different six various lots of miscellaneous goods in Rs.59.22 million. All bidders show interest in the bidding of spare parts and vehicles in the auction.

It is important to mention here that Oil Marketing companies were only allowed to participate in the bid of HSD in the auction. Deputy Collector Tanvir Ahmad supervised the whole process for the auction of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port to ensure transparency.
