Customs JIAP commemorates International Customs Day

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) celebrated International Customs Day 2023 with enthusiasm and zeal.

A cake cutting ceremony was also held at the Departure Lounge of Jinnah International Airport in which Collector Customs Jinnah International Airport Dr. Nadeem Memon while Additional Collector Asaullah Larik and Assistant Collector Waqar Haider also participated.

The ceremony was also attended by high officials of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Airport Security Force (ASF).

The Departure Lounge of Jinnah International was also decorated to mark International Customs Day 2023.

Earlier at a ceremony in in Peshawar Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Asim Ahmad has appreciated the role and contribution of Pakistan Customs towards the development of national economy in areas of revenue collection, prevention of smuggling, protection of local industry and enforcement of safe goods for public health.
