ECC approves fixation of maximum retail prices of four new cardiac stents

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet considered and approved a summary of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination regarding fixation of Maximum Retail Prices of four new Cardiac Stents recommended by National Price Fixation Committee for Life Saving medical devices.

The approval was granted during meeting of the committee that was held in Islamabad with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair on Monday.

The Economic Coordination Committee also approved Technical Supplementary Grant worth 5000 million rupees in favor of Ministry of Housing and Works for the current financial year 2022-2023 for execution of development schemes of Ex-FATA.

The ECC also approved a grant of additional area of 15.88 Square Kilometers in Soghri Exploration License.

It approved grant of 6 months of Extended Well Testing over Qabul-2 St-1 discovery in Khipro Exploration License.

It approved Technical Supplementary Grant equivalent to 50 Million dollars to be obtained from the World Bank as 1st Tranche of Credit Line of 85 Million dollars.

The committee accorded approval to another TSG of Rupee Cover of 7,840 Million against an amount of 33.1 million dollars for World Bank funded Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure Project.
