ISLAMABAD: Government has decided to efficiently utilise Special Investment Facilitation Council as the meeting of the council’s Apex Committee has been summoned today.
Reportedly, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will preside over the Apex Committee meeting. Army Chief General Asim Munir along with other federal and provincial ministers will participate in the meeting.
The Apex Committee will review the steps taken after the establishment of the Investment Facilitation Council and the recommendations made after Implementation Committee’s two previous meetings will also be presented to the Apex Committee.
According to sources, in wake of probable visit by foreign delegations for investment in next month, the Apex Committee is expected to approve the operational and facilitation procedures for the incoming delegations.
