ISLAMABAD: Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Malik Amjed Zubair Tiwana held a detailed meeting with Director General (DG) National Logistics Cell (NLC) Maj. Gen. Farrukh Shahzad Rao at FBR Headquarters in Islamabad.
During the meeting both officials discussed matters of mutual interest and effective measures to prevent smuggling in the region. Director-General National Logistic Cell assured Chairman FBR that NLC will extend full support to Federal Board of Revenue and Pakistan Customs in their efforts to curb smuggling.
Both officials agreed to adopt comprehensive strategy against smuggling and vowed that anyone who found involved in smuggling should be dealt with iron hands.
