JEDDAH: Bandai Namco Games’ Katsuhiro Harada recently hit up Twitter to reveal a new addition to the Tekken 7 roster. Shaheen is a fighter out of Saudi Arabia, and he’ll make his debut alongside fellow new contenders Katarina, Claudio, and Lucky Chloe when Tekken 7 hits arcades early this year.
Harada previously mentioned wanting to add a Middle Eastern character to the franchise, but he didn’t feel he had enough of a grasp on the culture until his recent trips to visit the fighting game communities of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
