Karachi Enforcement seizes banned pharmaceuticals from Gadap Town

KARACHI: Under the supervision of Collector Basit Maqsood Abbasi, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement has seized huge quantity of Boostin Injections from Gadap Town.

The Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted in the wee hours of June 12, 2024. The market value of seized injections is Rs15 million in black market.

Sources told Customs Today that customs enforcement team comprising Additional Collector Dawood Pirzado, Deputy Collector Raza Naqvi, and Preventive Officers Saqlain Chadhar and Zubair Ranjha raided and recovered 4,700 Boostin Injections. These injections are prohibited by the Supreme Court due to their harmful effects on cattle and milk quality.

During the raid two accused persons who have linked to the smuggling ring also arrested.

Customs team also registered a case against the accused persons while legal proceedings are still underway.

Collectorate of Customs Enforcement is using all available resources to curb smuggling in the jurisdiction.
