KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has decided to enhance financing limit for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
According to a statement issued by State Bank of Pakistan on Tuesday, small businesses will now be able to obtain loan worth Rs100 million while medium business enterprises can get loan worth Rs500 million.
The State Bank allowed commercial banks, direct financing institutions (DFIs) to deduct amount from liquidated assets.
The SBP further directed all commercial banks and other financial institutions to implement above-mentioned measures immediately.
