MULTAN: Multan Tax Bar Association hosted a grand ceremony to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue Multan Bench and Younis Ghazi Bar Hall. The event featured a breakfast and cake-cutting ceremony attended by prominent members of the legal fraternity, bar officials, and professionals from various sectors.
The chief guest, Senior Judge of the Appellate Tribunal Mian Abdul Basit, highlighted the importance of his association with the Multan Tax Bar and expressed pride in being part of its journey. He commended the bar’s efforts toward digitization, announcing plans for a weekly cause list and a digital case management portal to benefit taxpayers and consultants.
The ceremony was chaired by Bar President Mian Abdul Sattar, with General Secretary Muhammad Imran Ghazi leading the proceedings. Distinguished guests included Saleemullah Khan (Chairman Drug Court), Chaudhry Muhammad Dawood Wains (Member Punjab Bar Council), Malik Sajjad Haider Maitla (President High Court Bar Association), Muhammad Imran Khan Khakwani (President District Bar Association), and Syed Arif Shah (General Secretary District Bar Association).
The speakers lauded the Multan Tax Bar for its pivotal role in enhancing court operations and promoting professionalism. They emphasized the significance of initiatives like digitization in improving judicial efficiency and accessibility.
