Rashid Mehmood Langrial said that a visit is necessary for the collection of sales tax. He said that he addressed the concerns raised by a parliamentary committee about the purchase of new cars.

He said that we will meet the assigned revenue collection target of the current fiscal year. Rashid Mehmood Langrial said that the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) should adopt effective measures to control prices of cement in the country.

Replying to a question, Chairman FBR said that various multi-national companies established their head offices in Karachi, so collection of revenue took lead from this area.

He said that the process to collect taxes and revenue from Karachi is already prescribed in the constitution of Pakistan.

He said that trackers will be installed in all vehicles of FBR during next two to three months.
