LAHORE: NLC with the support of the business community has transformed the Sialkot Dry Port in Sambrial into a TIR centre.
This initiative will not only provide exporters with direct access to Central Asia and Russia but will also create new opportunities in global trade.
Due to NLC service, sealed containers will not require truck changes or reloading at borders throughout the entire journey. During transit, commercial goods will be provided with complete monitoring and insurance coverage.
Representatives of the business community praised NLC’s initiative, saying this will result in a significant reduction in delivery time and costs. They noted this will enhance the competitive position of Pakistani exports in regional markets.
