Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mohammad Ayub Miriani and Haji Akhtar Kakar praised the development and said they have fulfilled their commitment to Balochistan’s scrap importers.

This would, “streamline the import process” for the business community, he added.

The development is expected to reduce transportation costs for importers and meet the steel industry’s demand, positively impacting the construction sector.

The permission to import scrap and iron from Bazarcha Terminal fulfills a long-standing demand from Balochistan’s business community.
