Multan Customs foil bid to smuggle mobile phones from Airport

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs team deputed at Multan International Airport successfully intercepted an attempt to smuggle high-value mobile phones into the country, seizing 10 iPhone 16 Pro Max devices worth approximately Rs5 million.

Acting on intelligence received by Collector Punjab Tayyaba Kiyani, Deputy Collector Airport Ahmed Zaheer was directed to conduct an operation. The customs team searched a passenger arriving on a Fly Dubai flight from Dubai and recovered the mobile phones concealed in his luggage.
