KASHMORE: Three Pakistan Customs officials were kidnapped at gunpoint by unknown armed assailants on Tuesday night in the Kashmore Taluka area.
A video of the kidnapped officials went viral on social media on next day.
The victims, identified as Inspector Rashid Hussain Soomro, Wazir Ahmed, and Kabir Ahmed Chachar, were posted at the Kashmore Customs check-post.
According to reports, they had gone on duty before they went missing.
The local police confirmed they received information about the disappearance of the Customs officials, who were last seen at their duty station.
Family members of the officials have filed a formal application with the police, and authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter.
