Pakistan exports 147,000 litres of furnace oil in May 2025

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan exported 147,000 liters of furnace oil during May 2025, while an increase was recorded in the export of furnace oil during the first eleven months of the current fiscal year 2024-25.

According to a report, Pakistan registered 39 percent decrease in the export of petroleum products during May 2025 and imported overall 1,64,000 POL products.

During the first eleven months of the current fiscal year, Pakistan registered 63 percent increase in the export of furnace oil.

In current fiscal year of 2023-24, Pakistan exported 13,68,000 tons  of furnace oil while Pakistan exported 83,800 tons of furnace oil during the previous fiscal year.

In May 2025, 13 percent decline was registered in the export of naphtha but exports of 17,000 naphtha.

Overall in first 11 months of the current fiscal year 37 percent increase was witnessed in the export of POL products.

Pakistan surpassed the figure of 17,42,000 tons of POL products in the first eleven months of current fiscal year 2024-25.
