Syed Shakeel Shah also served as Director-General OPS Directorate General of Reforms & Automation Customs Islamabad and as Director-General Directorate General OPS Intelligence and Investigation, FBR Islamabad.

He will replace Wajid Ali, a BS-22 officer of PCS, who has been transferred and posted as Chief Collector of Customs Appraisement (South), Karachi.

Wajid Ali previously held the position of Member Customs Operations and is recognized as one of the most senior officers in the department.

Muhammad Jamil Nasir Khan, BS-20 officer of PCS, has been transferred and posted as Chief Collector of Customs Appraisement (North), Peshawar. He replaces an outgoing officer at the Karachi station, marking a significant reshuffle aimed at improving operational efficiency within Pakistan’s Customs network.

The transfer and posting order of Abdul Waheed Marwat (PCS/BS-20), mentioned at Sr. No.13 in Notification No. 1803-C-I/2025 dated August 7, 2025, has been officially cancelled ab initio. Officers drawing performance allowances will continue to receive them at their new postings, except those transferred to FBR headquarters in Islamabad.

The FBR has directed all concerned officers to submit charge relinquishment and assumption reports promptly for official record and further administrative action.
