ISLAMABAD: Key progress has been reported in the government’s privatisation drive as the Privatisation Commission Board, chaired by Adviser to the Prime Minister on Privatisation Muhammad Ali, held its 242nd meeting in Islamabad and approved several important decisions.

According to the official statement, the board approved sending the reference price of House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFC) to the Cabinet Committee on Privatisation (CCoP) and selected Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company Limited (PMRCL) as the sole pre-qualified bidder.
