The webinar aimed to promote investment opportunities for French companies in Pakistan’s mining and minerals sector.

Ali Pervez Malik highlighted Pakistan’s huge potential in copper, gold, and rare earth elements, noting that the global shift toward green energy has turned minerals like copper and lithium into key players for future technologies.

He added that the government has introduced measures to make doing business easier in the mining sector.

French Ambassador Nicolas Galey appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen its mining and investment environment, while Benjamin Galazzo said the forum would help showcase opportunities available for French firms in Pakistan’s minerals industry.

Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in geological surveys, technology transfer, and sustainable mining practices.
