DG Khan Customs impounds smuggle betel nuts, coal truck worth Rs 15m

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement team in Dera Ghazi Khan has successfully foiled a major smuggling attempt, seizing 3040 kg of smuggled betel nuts valued at approximately Rs 6 million.

The contraband in 80 bags was hidden beneath the coal. Both the seized betel nuts and the Coal truck have been taken into custody under the Customs Act of 1969. The total estimated worth of the seized goods is around Rs 15 million, said a news release.
