ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) announced that the chamber will soon convene a traders convention aimed at formulating concrete, actionable proposals for submission to the concerned authorities to ensure swift resolution of the business community’s longstanding issues.

Addressing a delegation of the Traders Welfare Association (TWA) G-9, President ICCI , Sardar Tahir Mehmood said that the business community is the real engine of economic growth, yet its concerns are persistently ignored by relevant authorities whose primary focus revolves around imposing additional taxes for their own expenditures rather than facilitating trade.
