ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that all of its field formations will remain open on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in a move aimed at easing access for taxpayers and ensuring uninterrupted revenue collection.
In a statement, the FBR said the decision covers Large Taxpayer Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayer Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs). These offices will continue to operate during normal working hours on the specified date.
The board said the measure was taken to facilitate taxpayers, particularly those who require in-person services ahead of upcoming deadlines, while also supporting the smooth collection of taxes, duties, and other government revenues.
According to the FBR, all relevant field offices have been directed to remain fully operational on January 31 to provide necessary services without disruption.
