ETO, traders discuss property tax facilitation

PESHAWAR: Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO-II) Property Tax, Tauseef Khan, chaired an important meeting with representatives of the local traders Union at “Andar Shehir Bazar”in Peshawar, to discuss public facilitation and address challenges related to property taxation.

During the meeting, participants engaged in detailed discussions on taxation matters, public facilitation, and issues faced by the business community.

On the occasion, Tauseef Khan emphasized that the Excise and Taxation Department, in line with the directives of the Provincial Government, is taking practical steps to provide every possible support to traders.

 He highlighted that regular visits to marketplaces aim not only to improve the tax system but also to promptly resolve traders’ concerns on the spot.

Representatives of the “Andar Shehir Bazar” Union appreciated the department’s facilitation initiatives and assured full cooperation.

It was mutually agreed that relationship between the business community and the department would be further strengthened to promote a public-friendly environment.

Tauseef Khan reaffirmed that the Excise and Taxation Department remains committed to principles of public service, transparency and facilitation, and would continue taking all possible measures to address legitimate concerns of the traders.
