Gold prices in Pakistan surge following global trend

KARACHI: Gold prices rebounded sharply in both international and local markets after witnessing a significant decline a day earlier.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs5,000, reaching Rs475,362.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs4,287 to Rs407,546.

Silver prices also moved upward, with the price per tola increasing by Rs60 to Rs8,034.

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $50 per ounce, reaching $4,530 per ounce amid renewed buying activity in global bullion markets.
