ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial have been recommended for one of Pakistan’s highest civil awards under the proposed Civil Awards 2026 list.
Dar and Aurangzeb have been nominated for the Nishan-i-Imtiaz, while Langrial has been recommended for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz, in recognition of their public service.
The proposed list also includes Establishment and Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Khan Cheema and Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani for the Nishan-i-Imtiaz.
Finance Secretary Imdadullah Bosal is also among other senior officials recommended for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz.
The recommendations form part of the proposed Pakistan Civil Awards 2026 list and remain subject to formal approval before the awards are officially conferred.
