The auction included three discounted Sukuk instruments with maturities of three months, six months, and one year. It also included a 10-year Variable Rental Rate (VRR) Sukuk.

The three-month Sukuk recorded a cut-off yield of 11.47 percent, while its weighted average yield stood at 11.44 percent.

For the six-month Sukuk, the cut-off yield was 11.68 percent, compared with a weighted average yield of 11.85 percent.

The one-year Sukuk attracted a cut-off yield of 11.94 percent, while its weighted average yield was recorded at 11.9083 percent.

Meanwhile, the 10-year VRR Sukuk had a cut-off yield of 11.63 percent, which was 0.24 percentage points higher than the reference rate of 11.39 percent. Its weighted average yield stood at 11.62 percent.

The strong participation in the auction, with bids substantially exceeding the amount raised, highlights continued investor interest in government securities available through the capital market.

The latest Sukuk auction also provides the government with an additional avenue to raise financing while offering investors Shariah-compliant investment instruments through the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
