PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has launched its official mobile application, “KPRA Sahulat,” on the Google Play Store, giving citizens, taxpayers, and business owners direct digital access to sales tax services and complaint redressal tools.
The app allows users to verify invoices in real time through QR code scanning and report unverified or suspicious receipts directly to the authority. It also includes an interactive sales tax calculator, offline access to Schedule-II tax rates, and a live tax calendar for tracking filing deadlines.
Additional features let users verify registered businesses through their National Tax Number, track the status of submitted complaints, and access official notifications and taxpayer guides.
DG KPRA Irum Naz said the app reflects the provincial government’s broader push for governance reform and improved public service delivery.
She said KPRA Sahulat marks a significant step toward empowering citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that the authority remains committed to accessible and transparent public services under the direction of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi and Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah.
She said the platform gives citizens the tools to engage with tax services, exercise their rights, and raise concerns with ease.
Naz thanked Advisor to the Chief Minister on Finance Muzzammil Aslam and Secretary Finance Captain (retd) Kamran Ahmad Afridi for their continued support, which she said has helped KPRA develop into a leading public sector institution. She also credited KPRA’s in-house ICT team for conceptualizing and building the application.
Naz said an iOS version of the app is in the final stages of development and will be released on the Apple App Store to extend coverage to all mobile platforms. The Android version of KPRA Sahulat is currently available for free download on the Google Play Store.
