KARACHI: The Pakistan Banks’ Association (PBA) has held the second session of its quarterly Town Hall series, bringing together chief executive officers and senior leaders from member institutions to discuss key developments and priorities for the banking sector.

Following the inaugural Town Hall earlier this year, the latest session provided members with an overview of developments during the previous quarter, while highlighting PBA’s ongoing work across priority areas and its roadmap for the coming period.

The session also provided an opportunity for senior banking executives to engage with one another, exchange views and discuss issues affecting the industry.

An open discussion and question-and-answer session formed a key part of the Town Hall, allowing representatives of member banks to raise matters of importance and seek greater clarity on issues facing the banking sector.

During the event, PBA also honoured distinguished banking leaders in recognition of their valuable contributions to Pakistan’s banking industry and their service on the PBA Executive Committee.

The quarterly Town Hall series is aimed at strengthening engagement between PBA and its member institutions while providing a platform for senior industry leadership to discuss emerging challenges, regulatory matters and priorities for the sector.

The latest gathering reflects PBA’s continued focus on maintaining dialogue among banking institutions and creating greater coordination on matters of common industry interest.
