The establishment of the National Faceless Center is part of the FBR’s broader efforts to introduce technology-driven tax administration and centralise tax-related functions through digital processes.

The faceless system is intended to support the FBR’s move towards greater use of digital platforms in tax administration, including the handling of tax proceedings without direct physical interaction between taxpayers and tax officials.
