BEIJING: Samsung Electronics rolled out two new midrange smartphones — the Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 as part of its launch of a line of four Galaxy models in India on Tuesday. The other two are the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, which have been available in China since the end of last year.
The Galaxy E5, with a 5.0-inch Super AMOLED display, is priced at 19,300 rupees. The E7, sporting a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, costs 23,000 rupees.
Both come with a 5-megapixel front camera suitable for taking high-quality selfies, and feature a 7.3-mm ergonomic body for an easy grip.
Targeted at younger consumers, the Galaxy A3 and A5 aim for both practicality and style. Boasting full-metal bodies with thicknesses of 6.7mm and 6.9mm respectively, the A3 and A5 are priced at 20,500 rupees and 25,500 rupees.
