Prime minister Nawaz offers manpower to Bahrain

MANAMA: Pakistan has offered manpower to Bahrain. The offer was made by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at a meeting with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in Manama.

The prime minister said tremendous economic development taking place in Bahrain was impressive and Pakistan could help in its socio-economic development through the provision of manpower.

He said Pakistan is looking forward to early establishment of the Pakistan Energy Fund that would open new vistas of cooperation in the field of energy.

Nawaz Sharif appreciated Bahrain’s offer of establishing a medical college in Pakistan.

Prime Minister and Bahraini King also discussed matters relating to further promotion of bilateral ties in different fields including energy cooperation, manpower employment, trade, investment and defence.

Bahraini King conferred on the Prime Minister the highest civil award of Bahrain “Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa medal of the First Class,” in recognition of his contribution towards further strengthening relationship between the two countries.

King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa also hosted a banquet in honour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his delegation.
