Govt, FPCCI vow to resuscitate economy in 2015

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastagir Khan called on Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) members at Federation House and said that the government and FPCCI would jointly work for revival of economy in the new year.

The minister informed the FPCCI members that the government would fully support the business community, and would provide them a level-playing field and strengthen the FPCCI to play its due role.

FPCCI President Mian Mohammad Idrees requested the government to declare 2015 as year of economic revival. FPCCI is working on modalities of economic revival – both for short- and long-term basis, he said.

TDAP CEO SM Muneer stated that Expo Pakistan-2014 is under preparation while Aleeshan Pakistan event would be extended to Middle East, Europe, South Asia, Africa and America.
