CHENNAI: Indian Customs officials have seized seven kg gold worth of Rs 2.5 crore and nabbed two two passengers who arrived from Singapore here the other day.
According to airport officials, Syed Abu Thahir and Haja Alaudeen, both residents of Chennai, allegedly concealed the seven kg of precious metal in their hand baggage.
The two were nabbed on prior information, officials said.
