Ministry awaits Rs 200m funds to boost security at educational institutions in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of CAD has failed in providing security to educational institution due to not getting funds of Rs 200 million from the Interior Ministry.

According to sources, parents are not satisfied with the security arrangements in schools and colleges due to which number of students are decreasing in educational institutes.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has directed administration to raise the walls of institutes 8 feet, to fix barbed wires at the top of walls, walk through gates were to be placed at the main gates and numerous security personnel were to be deployed but so far no such measures have been taken by the government.
