KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has accepted several demands of transporters.
According to Spokesman FBR Shahid Asad, FBR has imposed same tax tariff for Goods Transporters as it was imposed for oil tankers association.
The Spokesman FBR further informed that the advance tax on weight has been decreased by Rupee 1 per kilogram; it was previously Rs 2 per kg.
The spokesman said that the withholding tax for Goods Transporters has been increased by 0.5 per cent to reach at 2.5 per cent.
