HP introduces Stream 11.6-inch notebook, Stream 8 Slate 6 Voice Tab II tablets & new Pavilion Mini desktop PC in India

NEW DELHI: HP has launched new products to the Indian market, which include the HP Stream 11.6-inch notebook, HP Stream 8 and HP Slate 6 Voice Tab II tablets and also its new Pavilion Mini desktop PC.

The Windows 8.1 notebook PC, the HP Stream, sports an 11.6-inch HD 1366 x 768p display. Along with this anti-glare display, the device comes equipped with a 2.16GHz Intel Celeron N2840 processor and 2GB RAM. Some other specs include 32GB onboard storage and a multi-format SD media card reader.

The device also packs in 1TB of free cloud storage for one year on Microsoft OneDrive along with free Office 365 Personal for a year. The HP Stream 11.6 price starts at Rs 19,990.

The next in line is the HP Stream 8; an 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet powered by Intel Atom Z3735G Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM, and 32GB storage. Sporting an 8-inch HD display, it comes with 4G support, microSD card slot, and 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing cameras. A 4,000mAh battery completes the package. The HP Stream 8 tablet will be available at a starting price of Rs 16,990.

On the other hand, the 6-inch HP Slate 6 Voice Tab II runs Android 4.4 Kit Kat. The specs sheet of this tablet includes a 1.2GHz Marvell quad-core PXA1088 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card support up to 32GB, 8MP rear snapper, 2MP front-facing camera, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity options. It is priced at Rs 15,990.

Next is the HP Pavilion Mini desktop featuring Intel Pentium 3558U processor, 4GB RAM and a 500 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD). It supports up to Intel Core i3 and is sleek enough to fit in your palms. It also comes with 1TB storage and up to 8GB expandable memory. One can also expect dual display support with Display Port and HDMI compatible ports. The system bundles a monitor, keyboard and mouse. The Pavilion mini desktop will be available at a starting price of Rs 26,990.

HP’s new devices are expected to hit stores this month.
