TOKYO: Have you been loyally playing World of Warcraft for the past few years? If you have, it seems that Blizzard could be thinking of rewarding you for your loyalty and veteran status with a gift. No, it will not be an in-game gift like Blizzard has given out in the past for various events, but an actual physical gift.

According to reports, it seems that there have been some players who have received emails claiming that a package from Blizzard is being sent their way. There was a post made by Blizzard which was later taken down and we’re not sure why, but it reads, “As a way of thanking our loyal World of Warcraft players, we will send a physical gift to players who have been playing with us since the beginning.

Players who are eligible have received an email at the address listed on their Battle.net accounts. If you did not receive that email, your account is not eligible for this gift.”

It is unclear as to what kind of requirements you must meet in order to qualify for the gift, but like the message said, perhaps it is aimed at gamers who have been playing World of Warcraft since its vanilla days and whose accounts are still active to this date. It is also unclear as to what kind of physical gift Blizzard will be sending, but we will keep our eyes peeled for more information.

In the meantime has any of our readers received a similar email notifying them of an incoming package from Blizzard? Let us know in the comments below!
