TOKYO: Issues with connectivity and stability of the H1Z1 game made the experience a total disappointment for the fans.

On top of that, H1Z1 came under fire for its paid airdrops which fans criticized a lot. In an attempt to calm things down, senior game designer Adam Clegg came forward and apologized to fans over the whole situation.

Previously, in a stream, Adam Clegg stated that players won’t be able to buy weapons or ammo and will have to look for them in the open world of H1Z1.

As players now know, that isn’t the case as players can call-in paid airdrops for such items. In his statement, Adam Clegg told fans what happened and how what he said was misleading.

..But sometimes things get said without completely thinking about what fans are saying 100% through. H1Z1 is a massive game with a lot of systems, some of which they were tuning every day and finishing last minute.

He noted that he understands how what he said at the time was “lying” to fans, so he apologized.

With that said, don’t think paid airdrops will be removed from the game? Because according to Clegg, “the dev team loves airdrops.”

However, they will be making some changes to the airdrop system in the near future, so everyone will get a fair shot at getting their hands on it. For example, airplanes will move even slower, packages falling from the plane will also get a speed drop and a “less accurate maximum drop radius.”
