The government announced the support price of wheat this season without evaluating the prices of wheat in the International markets and due to raise in support price of wheat in local market, the export of wheat in the other countries of the world decreased, he added.

“A sensible action of the government would facilitate the wheat cultivators this season otherwise due to decrease in petroleum prices in the world it will also affect the prices of wheat,” he expressed.

“Due to availability of excess wheat, stock prices will fall down from the supporting price and wheat grower will face financial crunch,” he stated.
