SEOUL: LG Electronics has given a statement that  Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon processor has no overheating problem. The processor is powering a curved-screen device available on sale later this month. Snapdragon 810 chip’s performance is quite satisfactory.

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, the world’s top smartphone maker, decided not to use the new Qualcomm processor for the next flagship Galaxy S smartphone after the chip overheated during testing. Samsung and Qualcomm have declined to comment on the report, which cited unidentified sources.
