SEOUL: South Korean tech giant will release the Android Lollipop for Galaxy Note 4 in this month. It seems that Samsung will release directly the 5.0.1 version of Android instead of releasing the 5.0 version first.
In concordance with GSMArena, Samsung already updated the user manual of the model numbers: SM-N910F, SM-N910CQ, SM-N910H, SM-N910C, SM-N910U and SM-N910G. This manual informs the owners of those variants of this device about the some features that Android 5.0.1 Lollipop will come with. With other words, this is a big sign that the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update will soon be released for Note 4 and it will skip the 5.0 version.
A few weeks ago, there was a leaked video about a Galaxy Note 4 running on an Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. In concordance to Android Headlines, the main reason of going directly to the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update and skip the 5.0 version is that the later version comes with bug fixes for all the main problems that were found when Lollipop OS was released. At the same time, not only the Galaxy Note 4 will receive the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update but also the owners of the Galaxy Note Edge should expect this update to come to their device soon.
According to GSMArena, the Project Volta from the Android Lollipop will most likely help the batteries of the device that run on this new OS to last longer. Until now, Samsung didn’t officially confirm when they will release the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop for their Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, but users should expect some official news regarding this soon.
