FIA arrested five LESCO officials on corruption charges

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started action against corrupt officials in WAPDA and other government departments. According to Muhammad Zafar Ch, assistant director FIA Lahore, at least five LESCO officials, including one sub-divisional offer (SDO), are arrested for misuse of authorities. Officials of Lahore Electric Supply Company were involved in illegal electrification in Rachna Town Sub division.

FIA arrested SDO Muhammad Naeem, Line Superintendent Khurrum Shahzad, Line Superintendent Hussain Naqvi, Line Superintendent Muhammad Javaid and Line Superintendent Rana Qayum.
