From the rest of the competition by offering compatibility across the tablet and laptop mode instead of just switching between operating systems as we observed with earlier entrants to the hybrid space.

The timing of the release of the new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has been set to coincide with the release of Windows 10. This is the new operating system that has been designed from the ground up for maximum performance, security and reliability. While still very new, Windows 10 has been around for quite a while now in the form of an evaluation preview. So far, the results are impressive and we can only imagine what it will be like to have the same experience on a hybrid.

The Surface Pro 4 packs a lot of features into the space of a hybrid. It is said that these hybrids will make use of the latest fanless processor designs which emit very little heat and do away with the need for a fan. This saves on space and trims down the overall size of the Surface Pro. The fanless processors also mean that you can use the hybrid for hours with very minimal power consumption. Therefore, you can game away the whole day without worrying about your battery dying out.

The sleek design of the Surface Pro 4 sets it apart from the rest of the competition. But it is not just about the looks. With Windows 10 installed, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be a great choice for enterprises that are looking to increase employee mobility while at the same time increasing productivity.

Having a common base will make it easy for companies to create applications that sync employee output with the cloud. This increased efficiency is something that enterprises will shell out lots of money for and will definitely make Microsoft some good money.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is slated to come in two sizes so as to accommodate a wider range of customers who have different preferences. The two versions are different in terms of size with the smaller sized device packing less features and computing power that the larger one.

Offering the market a wide range of choice in terms of hybrid sizes will also mean more profits for Microsoft. An increased user base for the new Windows 10 will benefit the company in various other ways especially through the Windows Store where apps and games for these devices will be distributed. All in all, Microsoft is in for a huge profit this year.
