MULTAN: The Multan Customs has generated nearly Rs 25 million through the auction of different articles and vehicles in January.
The customs has earned Rs 7.6 million revenue with the public sale of different miscellaneous goods and vehicles.
Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Multan has auctioned various confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods seized by the Anti-Smuggling Organization. The auction consists of Toyota Corolla, BMW, Starlet, Toyota Hilux Surf, Hino oil tanker. There were some used imported tyres auctioned in the open sale. The auction of Anti-Smuggling Organization was organized at the Multan Dry Port at Sher Shah Road in the presence of more than hundred participants of the auction.
The auction was arranged under the supervision of Deputy Collector Muhammad Ali Malik and auction officer Muhammad Akram.
Multan Customs Intelligence and Investigation has generated Rs 17.6 million in the auction held at Customs Intelligence and Investigation office at Raja Pur near Khanewal Road Lahore Bypass. There were only 13 vehicles presented for the auction in the open sale and out of 13 offered vehicles only five vehicles were auctioned successfully.
The imported 132,000-liter furnace oil and 38960 liter of high speed diesel of Iran origin was also auctioned. Different auto spare parts, LEDs and welding rods were among the auctioned goods.
Additional Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Nisar Ahmad and Auction Officer Muhammad Akram were heading the auction at the Customs Intelligence and Investigation office .A large numbers of participants were participated in the auction at the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Range Office.
