HARLOTTE: One person was arrested after Charlotte-Mecklenburg police seized nearly 740 marijuana plants with a street value of $1.1 million, according to a news release from the police department.
Authorities also found about $100,000 to $150,000 in growing equipment inside a home in the 1400 block of Lundy Lane, near Freedom Drive.
Quang Minh Cao was arrested after a month-long investigation following a complaint about drugs at the home.
He was charged with manufacturing marijuana, trafficking marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, maintain a dwelling and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
